Ellie has arrived.....

Ellie Adelaide Foster born on June 2, 2011 at 6:20am. Measuring 19 inches long and 6lb6oz. As mom said it a few days before she was born, "I think Baby E will be making a grand appearance" and sure enough she did.

Adam made it home just in time. He was home on the red eye flight from Salt Lake City at 6am on Wednesday morning and my water broke at 12:10am on Thursday, June 2nd. Luckily, that evening, I decided to finish packing our suitcase for the hospital. That whole day Shelby was acting so strange. Here she is when she came in and decided to literally sit in my lap while I packed.

 In between contractions at the hospital. Just when I had gotten used to the fact I was going to go in on June 3rd for c-section, I ended up laboring for 5 hours. Was hoping that I had enough time to apply make-up for the big event, but Adam wouldn't let me.

 Finally got to hold my sweet girl in the recovery room. Such a great feeling. She just layed down and went to sleep. I finally started feeling somewhat normal again.

An eventful start to our June. Ellie joined out family on June 2, 2011. She decided she did not want to share her birthday with her Daddy on June 3rd. We found out on June 1, 2011 that baby girl was breech even though we thought she was head down all along. Thank goodness for them doing an ultrasound. Adam came home ASAP after calling him and telling him the news. So much for being able to get a few last minutes things done, going on a date before baby girl arrived. She decided to come on her own at 39 weeks. Birth story to come......
