Week 12

Ellie has made big strides in Tummy Time this week. I had been doing it pretty much daily but Ellie hated it. So what does a mommy do when they know it's good for their child but they don't like it...we do it even more often (but in little time intervals). Well towards the end of this week, Ellie just lifted herself up and was so strong.

We had another playdate this week with one of my high school friends and her son who is about 8 months. It was very nice getting out of the house and I think Ellie enjoyed watching Porter play with his toys.

I know I probably say this every week, but every week Ellie seems to be "talking" more and so much more content just hanging out. I had a busy day yesterday and had to go to the doctor and then get a much needed haircut. She just hung out in her stroller. I must say though, I now know why I don't venture out much and I think I am okay with that. It is just alot of work and then of course at the doctor's office, Ellie had a huge dirty diaper and so we had to change her clothes and everything.

Ellie attended her first bridal shower for my cousin's fiance, Lauren. She was quite the hit.
